Location: Alpharetta, Georgia
Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week primarily in the afternoons. Some weekend work would be required if full-time is desired. Schedule changes from school year (the family will need days/fill ins during school holidays/breaks) to summer and is scheduled/confirmed monthly. (Base hours during school year: 1pm-7pm M-Th and 1-6:30pm Fri ) Summer changes. Two Saturday or Sunday help per month is needed. Those times are flexible.
Compensation: $15 - $20 per hour with a commitment bonus available
Position Details: Energetic, friendly family is seeking a dynamic Specialized Nanny/House Manager to help watch our two boys, age 10- and 12-years-old. Working mom also needs help keeping house running smoothly.
Candidate Requirements: ABA and autism experience required (One year or more). The older child has autism, anxiety, and OCD and is minimally verbal. He is very tall for his age and is fully developed - some self help skills are required. Experience providing direct ABA is critical as the family utilizes several home-based programs. Training and career developments available. Soccer enthusiasts, ABA therapists. musicians, artists and/or teachers are strongly encouraged to apply! The family is looking for a caregiver who loves playing with children and who is physically able to keep up with two active, athletic boys. The candidate will be trained to do home therapy as well. Examples are ABA (AFLS/NET/ABLS) program, Orton Gillingham, vision therapy, Floortime, OT and we are looking at RPM.
The family needs an athletic, playful person who enjoys sports and likes to be active. Athletic ability is a requirement. The Specialized Nanny will be responsible for helping kids with homework, play, driving, dinner in addition to home therapy. This person will also be communicating with other therapists(such as OT, PT). Dependability and punctuality are critical as is someone who really enjoys engaging with children. This candidate must have an excellent driving record. The family will provide a car for driving the kids to their activities. The candidate will be attending community activities with the children/family.
House Manager/keeping responsibilities:
Some light housekeeping is needed (mostly helping with laundry for kids). Helping mom with keeping the house organized is a must as well as having the ability to help boys with homework. Please be comfortable with pets. Responsibilities may also include meal prep. The family would love someone who likes to cook! Other responsibilities include taking pictures, putting together social stories and keeping notes updated.
The family require a long-term commitment - 2 years is highly desirable and a commitment bonus is available for candidates willing to make such a commitment.

Position: Part-Time After-School Nanny M - Th and occasional Fridays-flexibility is a must!

Description: There are 4 children ages 10, 8, and two 5 year-old twins. The nanny is expected to get the children off the bus, help with homework, provide snacks, and pick up after the children. The nanny may help with dinner depending on the parent's schedule.

-Have experience caring for children with ADHD, developmental delays, and sensory integration issues

Position: Part-Time(ish) Nanny caring for a 6-year-old 3 days a week who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, OCD and ADHD.
Location: Marietta, Georgia
Hours: 3 days a week around 20 hours (the specific days can be negotiated based on the Candidates schedule). The mother needs help in the morning getting the child ready for school and then after school from 2:00 to 8:30.
Salary: Depends on Experience ($12 - $25)
Requirements: The Candidate must have experience working with children who have behavioral challenges. A relevant degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field is a major plus. The Candidate is expected to assist with homework and meals in the evenings and incorporate their skills and training into the care of the child.
